The creation of the YEAH (Youth Empowerment for the Arts and Harmony) festival is presented by the Broadcast Center a 501(c)3 and its Founders Denise Williams and Andrea Wilson.
The Broadcast Center NFP provides goodwill, educational, artistic and cultural experiences to the Metro-East community with a goal in particular to provide such opportunities for the underprivileged and undeserved. The Broadcast Center also promotes providing children with communication and conflict resolution skill for the betterment of their lives.
The purpose of the festival is two-fold by providing a much-needed cultural event for our region and exposing our area children to world-class entertainment and opportunities. The festival is unique in that proceeds will be earmarked to provide both summer and intermittent music and creative arts programs for Metro-East youth. Throughout the year and the days leading up to the festival, Metro-East children are exposed to various music, art, and journalism opportunities.
It is an opportunity to invest in our most precious resource, provide both opportunities for area businesses, and bring joy with the gift of music.
